Does any of this sound like you?

“Self-criticism is my default. Self-compassion feels like letting myself off easy.”

“It’s all on me; the anxiety is so real.”

“I have to earn the right to enjoy good things.”

“I don’t know the difference between my best and perfect.”

“I’m exhausted from obsessing over ‘healthy’ habits.”

“I’ve been looking for meaning in my life for so long and I still don’t feel the way I want to feel. I’m frustrated that I’ve tried so many things that haven’t worked.”

“I feel disconnected from myself. I don’t know who I am.”

“I did ‘all the right things’ and I don’t know what I would’ve done differently if I was living only for myself. I have no idea what to do next.”

“I’m totally dysregulated from living in constant fight or flight.”

“I want to have close relationships, but I don’t know how to be vulnerable.”

“I want to have close relationships, but I don’t trust myself to not get lost in them.”

“I’m the ‘strong friend’. I’m so tired of feeling like I can’t be human.”

“I’m afraid I’ll never really figure out life on my own, but I don’t know how to accept help.”

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

I have had every single one of these thoughts — over, and over, and over, and over.

The worst part? I didn’t have any idea that things could be any other way. I spent all of my young life looking to authority figures, religion, and relationships to tell me who I was and what should be important to me.

When I was shaken awake by some pretty harrowing life changes, I realized that I had…literally no identity at all.

(In case you’re wondering, yep, that shit is f*cking scary to build from scratch as an adult.)

But I read voraciously. I trialed and I errored. I worked really hard to constructively channel my perfectionism. (Yep, that’s a thing!) I went to therapy. I apologized profusely to the people who loved me while I stumbled through my self-discovery. And then…I entered my Free to Create Myself era.

Here are some things that are now true of me that can be true of you, too.

I have the tools to calmly make shit happen for myself, no matter what curveballs life throws my way.

I know how to create structure without rigidity. I embrace change.

I comfortably set healthy boundaries at work and in my relationships.

I trust myself to know when it’s time to work and when it’s time to rest. (And I allow myself to rest.)

I do things, even when I am afraid.

I genuinely believe in my innate worth, outside of performance or the roles I play in life.

I am not concerned with what others think of my decisions because I know my own voice, and I am not afraid to listen to it.

I joyfully hold everything — even the really good things — with an open hand.

I can quickly forgive myself for my mistakes.

I no longer wrestle daily with body image or disordered eating & I have a healthy relationship with movement.

I allow myself to love and be loved.

I have traded judgement for curiosity in every aspect of my life.

I’ve distilled some of the best bits of what I’ve learned so far into a totally customizable program that will save you years of trial-and-error (or provide a little breather from your own intensive DIY adventure).

The Clarity Project is a highly personalized program carefully designed to:

Pssst! While you don’t need a certification to call yourself a life coach, I’ve put my time and money where my mouth is when it comes to being the best coach I can be.

In 2024, I completed a year-long intensive (ICF-accredited) program that certified me as a life coach.
